Mustahil!

Sabah will be creating 5 states in the country of SABAH if STAR form new government

KOTA KINABALU: The country is headed for dramatic changes and sweeping reforms if a loose election pact called United Borneo Alliance (UBA) led by State Reform Party (STAR) is to form the next Sabah state government.

Sabah STAR chairman, Jeffrey Kitingan, promised that if the alliance wins a simple majority in the 60-seat State Legislative Assembly at the coming general election, the new government would reclaim its rights as a “negara” and an autonomous region with special rights as was originally agreed and not be just one of 13 states of Malaysia as it has evolved.

He indicated that the state governor would be re-titled Yang Di-Pertua Negara as it was originally stated until it was amended to a lesser title of Yang di-Pertua Negeri (in late 1970s or early 1980s). “We are ready to administer the state. STAR would not only change the government, we will change all systems in accordance with the STAR vision to reinstate our status as ‘nation’ and reclaim our past glory,” he said in his policy speech at the party’s first national convention held here today. Jeffrey said STAR will implement its policy to create five states or territories within Sabah each to be led by a governor.

“These states would have their respective council or executive council, comparable to the states in Malaya or Peninsular Malaysia,” he said, adding that in the past Sabah had even participated as a country in the Olympics. Currently, UBA consists of STAR, Usno group, Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) and the remnants of Sabah People’s Front (SPF) which announced its commitment to UBA today.

SPF, a small Sabah party, was handed over to a Sarawak group recently, leaving its 38,000 members in Sabah in limbo. Some of its former leaders and members have joined STAR or had since aligned themselves with UBA. In his 75-minute speech Kitingan said STAR’s sweeping reforms would only be revealed in full when its manifesto is launched soon.

200,000 members
He, however, disclosed that a STAR-led state government would decentralise the management of land in the vast Borneon state.

“Each of the five states would have its land director to manage land matters in its respective areas. On top of this, we will establish a Land Tribunal, a Land and NCR Commission, and a State Native Land Foundation…” he told the more than 2,000 party delegates, including scores from Sarawak.
The delegates comprised 30 STAR leaders from each of the 60 state constituencies in Sabah, which had lately seen a steady increase in numbers supporting the still fragmented opposition front.
Also present at the convention were STAR president Dr Dripin Sakoi, its founder Dr Patau Rubis, secretary-general Donny Ruing, Sabah chapter secretary Guandee Kohoi and Usno leaders led by Leong Chau Chu as well as a three-member SAPP delegation led by deputy president Amde Sidek.
Also in attendance were officers of Malaysia’s chapter of Transparency International (TI) whose presidentPaul Low Seng Kuan, later joined in the afternoon session which saw STAR’s aspiring candidates signing “election integrity oath” with TI.

Earlier in his welcoming speech, Kohoi, who is also the convention organising chairman, told the spirited delegates that Sabah STAR’s membership had surpassed the 200,000 mark. The party was launched in January 2012.

“We have also formed our divisions in all 26 parliamentary areas including one in Federal Territory Labuan, and we have successfully established coordinating committees in all 60 state constituencies.
“We will launch the last three divisional committees in Silam, Semporna and Kalabakan by this month, and that completes it all,” he said, adding that the reception by Sabahans to the party’s struggle had been overwhelming.

‘Borneo Youth Oath’
Jeffrey in his policy speech also disclosed that since the inception of United Borneo Front (UBF), an NGO, in December 2010, it had held more than 3,000 talks or “Borneo tea parties”, patterned after the Boston tea party in United States where local leaders revolted against colonial British empire then.
The well-organised convention also saw an inspiring speech by STAR Sabah Youth leader, Hasmin Azroy Abdullah, who called on Sabahan youths to rise not only to support the Borneo Agenda but to prepare themselves as future leaders of the nation.

Delivering a fast 30-minute speech he called “Sumpah Pemuda Borneo” or Borneo Youth Oath, Hasmin, a former teacher, said in order for Sabah to regain its past glory, genuine Sabahans must unite and fight for their rights and the future of their generation. “Let us take this responsibility to save our state from being continuously ruled by Barisan Nasional. Let us become a courageous, knowledgeable and committed people so we may not be hoodwinked into poverty and oblivion.

“Sabah is a rich state, and yet the people are the poorest. The per capita income of Singapore now stands at US$57,000, Brunei at US$50,500 while Malaysia’s is only at US$15,000, and what more to Sabah the poorest…” Hasmin said. Sakoi will close the convention later this evening after delegates debate Jeffrey’s policy speech during which they are expected to proclaim him “Bapa Pejuang Sabah dan Hak-Hak Rakyat Sabah” (Father of Sabah Fighters and the State Peoples’ Rights).

PENDATANG ASING MENJADI WARGA NEGARA MALAYSIA

Angkara siapa? Bagaimana pula nasip orang sabah yang asli?

Mahathir mewajarkan ledakan rakyat Sabah

EXIT OF BUMBURING

TAWAU: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) president Datuk Seri Panglima Yong Teck Lee sees an impact from the exit of two Barisan Nasional members of parliament, especially in Sabah.

“Overall, the impact will be on the fence-sitters,” he said yesterday, adding he does not foresee a domino effect with other elected representatives following suit.

He said in the case of Datuk Seri Panglima Lajim Ukin, it would affect the division heads and supreme councillors of the party in Lajim’s area as he is the community leader for the Bisaya.

“Members at divisional level, I foresee will leave BN openly or quitting. After dissolution even more will leave openly, however, I don’t see a domino affect among YBs,” he said.

In the case of Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing, Yong said the impact would be on the KadazanDusunMurut (KDM) community.

“If we consider all this, it is obvious their departure will have some impact, especially on their areas concerned,” he said.

Yong said the issue given for leaving their parties though not similar, nevertheless endorsed what other opposition parties like SAPP have been saying for a long time.

“In terms of voters’ perception and issue, it shows that opposition parties like SAPP have been on the right track,” he said.

THE 20 POINTS

Point 1: Religion
While there was no objection to Islam being the national religion of Malaysia there should be no State religion in North Borneo, and the provisions relating to Islam in the present Constitution of Malaya should not apply to North Borneo.

Point 2: Language
a. Malay should be the national language of the Federation
b. English should continue to be used for a period of 10 years after Malaysia Day
c. English should be an official language of North Borneo for all purposes, State or Federal, without limitation of time.

Point 3: Constitution
Whilst accepting that the present Constitution of the Federation of Malaya should form the basis of the Constitution of Malaysia, the Constitution of Malaysia should be a completely new document drafted and agreed in the light of a free association of states and should not be a series of amendments to a Constitution drafted and agreed by different states in totally different circumstances. A new Constitution for North Borneo (Sabah) was of course essential. .

Point 4: Head of Federation
The Head of State in North Borneo should not be eligible for election as Head of the Federation, but the Ruler or Governors of Sabah and Sarawak shall be members of the Conference of Rulers  its main responsibility is the election of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

Point 5: Name of Federation
“Malaysia” but not “Melayu Raya”

Point 6: Immigration
Control over immigration into any part of Malaysia from outside should rest with the Central Government but entry into North Borneo should also require the approval of the State Government. The Federal Government should not be able to veto the entry of persons into North Borneo for State Government purposes except on strictly security grounds. North Borneo should have unfettered control over the movements of persons other than those in Federal Government employ from other parts of Malaysia into North Borneo.

Point 7: Right of Secession
There should be no right to secede from the Federation.

Point 8: Borneanisation
Borneanisation of the public service should proceed as quickly as possible.

Point 9: British Officers
Every effort should be made to encourage British Officers to remain in the public service until their places can be taken by suitably qualified people from North Borneo.

Point 10: Citizenship
The recommendation in paragraph 148(k) of the Report of the Cobbold Commission should govern the citizenship rights in the Federation of North Borneo subject to the following amendments:
a) sub-paragraph (i) should not contain the proviso as to five years residence
b) in order to tie up with our law, sub-paragraph (ii)(a) should read “7 out of 10 years” instead of “8 out of 10 years”
c) sub-paragraph (iii) should not contain any restriction tied to the citizenship of parents – a person born in North Borneo after Malaysia must be federal citizen.

Point 11: Tariffs and Finance
North Borneo should retain control of its own finance, development and tariff, and should have the right to work up its own taxation and to raise loans on its own credit.

Point 12: Special position of indigenous races
In principle the indigenous races of North Borneo should enjoy special rights analogous to those enjoyed by Malays in Malaya, but the present Malaya formula in this regard is not necessarily applicable in North Borneo.

Point 13: State Government
a) the Chief Minister should be elected by unofficial members of Legislative Council
b) There should be a proper Ministerial system in North Borneo.

Point 14: Transitional period
This should be seven years and during such period legislative power must be left with the State of North Borneo by the Constitution and not be merely delegated to the State Government by the Federal Government.

Point 15: Education
The existing educational system of North Borneo should be maintained and for this reason it should be under state control.

Point 16: Constitutional safeguards
No amendment modification or withdrawal of any special safeguard granted to North Borneo should be made by the Central Government without the positive concurrence of the Government of the State of North Borneo.

The power of amending the Constitution of the State of North Borneo should belong exclusively to the people in the state.  (Note: The United Party, The Democratic Party and the Pasok Momogun Party considered that a three-fourth majority would be required in order to effect any amendment to the Federal and State Constitutions whereas the UNKO and USNO considered a two-thirds majority would be sufficient.)

Point 17: Representation in Federal Parliament
This should take account not only of the population of North Borneo but also of its size and potentialities and in any case should not be less than that of Singapore.

Point 18: Name of Head of State
Yang di-Pertua Negara.

Point 19: Name of State
Sabah.

Point 20: Land, Forests, Local Government, etc.
The provisions in the Constitution of the Federation in respect of the powers of the National Land Council should not apply in North Borneo. Likewise, the National Council for Local Government should not apply in North Borneo.

AGENDA BORNEO, MASA DEPAN KITA

UNITED BORNEO FRONT (UBF)

Perjuangan Kita, Masa Depan Kita, Takdir Kita

AGENDA 4: Menuntut supaya Dasar Kabotaj (dasar perkapalan) dimansuhkan.

I CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

It is during adversity when one can really make a big difference. But making a difference is not about being a big hero. It is simply about leaving the bathroom a little cleaner going out, than when you came in.

It's easy to make a buck. It's a lot tougher to make a difference.

It's not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes the difference.

Never be afraid to do something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark; professionals built the titanic.

Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps, down new roads, armed with nothing but their own vision.

To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I... I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.

We all have ability. The difference is how we use it.

We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

We must overcome the notion that we must be regular... it robs you of the chance to be extraordinary and leads you to the mediocre.

You're the only one who can make the difference. Whatever your dream is, go for it.

DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER

"Judging a person does not define who they are but it defines who you are"

If you judge people, you have no time to love them. Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you (Matthew 7:1-2)

Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and I don't live to be but before you start pointing fingers... make sure you hands are clean!

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant. In the end, people should be judged by their actions, since in the end, it was actions that defined everyone. Judging others makes us blind, whereas love is illuminating. By judging others we blind ourselves to our own evil and to the grace which others are just as entitled to as we are. I intend to judge things for myself; to judge wrongly, I think, is more honorable than not to judge at all.

We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. That mess about judging people by the content of their character and not the color of their skin—that's some bullshit. Nobody has the right to judge anybody else. Period. If you ain't been in my skin, you ain't never gonna understand my character.

“Don't judge a man by his opinions, but what his opinions have made of him.”

You cannot be fair to others without first being fair to yourself. Know that a well-honed sense of justice is a measure of personal experience, and all experience is a measure of self. Know that the highest expression of justice is mercy. Thus, as the supreme judge in your own court, you must have compassion for yourself. Otherwise, cede your gavel.

SILENT VS TALKATIVE

To me there are pros and cons for this. I may have the option to agree or disagree but in reality sometime this is work.

If I choose to disagree then I must explain the reason. First, if you continue being a silent then there will be no conclusion on your problem, discussion and conversation.

And, if you continue not to share your opinion to avoid hurting other people then it's your right. However, God give everything for us to use including brand to think and mouth to talk but just because you limited them in some point then everything's turn to abandon. Some people can talk and even can judge but weak of point therefore easily be challenged.

To me, it's their personality. Talking based on experience without fact is something like sharing story. Everyone can talk and even can explain in detail via past experience but then it's a matter of how your explain or deliver it to others. Just imagine if you're a boss in your company or leader in an organisation. When you talking about your past experience or performance to the audience then you must do it in a very systematic manner; apply the point, relates to the subject and explain the outcome. Make your experience be their guidance and motivation. Accept every question with a valid answer and create conclusion. Let the audience improve their confident level when facing outside's challenger.

Second, the worse things when someone did not understand what are you talking about. Lets say you are a doctor by profession. Your have the knowledge in medical and determination for the finding of their illness. It is your JOB to explain and not just tell the patient illness and how to cue it. If patients trust you then you will be their personal reference.

NEVER LET YOUR PAST EXPERIENCES HARM YOUR FUTURE

Never let your past experiences harm your future. Your past can’t be altered and your future doesn't deserve the punishment.

Trust me.. And, if you care about other people think, you will always be their prisoner.

Forget about the past, it’s done. Make yourself a brighter future by focusing on the present..

SOMETIME WHEN WE TOUCH

You ask me if I love you, And I choke on my reply
Id rather hurt you honestly, Than mislead you with a lie
And who am I to judge you, In what you say or do
Im only just beginning, To see the real you

And sometimes when we touch, The honestys too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide, I want to hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry, I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

Romance and all it's strategy, Leaves me battling with my pride
But through all the insecurity, Some tenderness survives
Im just another writer, Still trapped within my truth
A hesitant prize fighter, Still trapped within my youth

And sometimes when we touch, The honestys too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide, I want to hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry, I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

At times I'd like to break you, And drive you to your knees
At times I'd like to break through, And hold you endlessly
At times I understand you, And I know how hard you try
I watched while love commands you, And Ive watched love pass you by
At times I think were drifters, Still searching for a friend
A brother or a sister, But then the passion flares again

And sometimes when we touch, The honestys too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide, I want to hold ya till I die
Till we both break down and cry, I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides.. Subsides

I DON'T WANA TALK ABOUT IT

I love this ..... Hebat..

I can tell by your eyes that you've
probably been crying forever
And the stars in the sky don't mean
nothing to you they're a mirror

I don't wanna talk about it
How you broke my heart
If I stay here just a little bit longer
If I stay here won't you listen to my heart
My heart

If I stand all alone will the shadows
hide the colours of my heart
blue for the tears, black for the night
fears the stars in the sky
don't mean nothing to you they're a mirror

I don't wanna talk about it
How you broke my heart
If I stay here just a little bit longer
If I stay here won't you listen to my heart
My heart...

TAKE WHAT YOU NEED

Seek the joy in what your gave and not in what your get. This is about me. The more you give the more your get; that's the way love works. BUT, you must remember either it's GOOD or BAD, it's all depend on you and the way how you accept it. Don't be upsets by the results you didn't get with the work you didn't do.

I don't care you're black, white, straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, short, tall, fat, skinny, reach or poor what so ever. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Simple as that.

One thing, do not covet your ideas. Give away everything you know and more will come back to you. Trust me! Do you remember in the school? Other students preventing from seeing their answers by placing their arm or any object around their exercise book or exam paper.

Its is same at work, people are secretive with ideas. Always say "don't tell them that, they'll take credit for it". The problem with hoarding is you will end up with living off your reserves. Eventually you become stale.

If you give away everything you have, you are left with nothing. This forces you look, to be aware, to replenish. Somehow the more you give the more comes back to you.

Ideas are open knowledge "don't claim ownership". There are not your idea anyway, there're someone else's. There are out there floating by on the either. You just need to put yourself in a frame of mind to pick them up.

Remember!! God have given your somethings......

PHYSIOTHERAPY, IS THAT GOOD??

Movement plays an important role in people’s lives. Physiotherapists assist people with movement disorders which may have been present from birth (such as cerebral palsy), acquired through accident or injury (such as motor vehicle accident or sporting injuries), or the result of life-changing major events (such as stroke or the development of a disease of the nervous system.)

Physiotherapists can help solve and avoid many of the painful problems that you may encounter throughout life. Whether you’re young or old, active or taking it easy, there’s a good chance you could benefit from physiotherapy at some point.

Or, do you have this experience? Very simple example when patients experience in shoulder dislocation and under-grow physio therapy.

What a physio can do? Patients should be informed on the right procedure; explaining the stage, the use of ultra sound and the massage treatments. If patients did not given proper explanation then there will be other assumption concluded by patient itself therefore a professional physio should not blame them.

Patients must also be transparent on their daily exercise and informs their professional physio so that they can advice the right exercise to perform. If the pain even worse after two weeks physio treatment then quickly seek for doctor advice. You may referred to the specialist doctor for further examination on your pain area. If necessary then MRI has to be done to examine what will be the next action to do. Otherwise, surgery will be required if found any tears or damages on the rotator cuff. If nothing then continue with normal physio treatments.

Patients must understand that 80% - 90% is from their workout and 10% - 20% from physio treatment.

Different Character: All possess different kind of character, whether good or bad. This is because of their continuous influence on their surroundings right from the birth to levels of their understanding. Strangers too, are humans with equally a static life with ups and downs turning their moods and attitude. A kind, caring affectionate goodness with sympathetic imagination and ability to feel other’s joy and thrills. A problem builds an acceptance of a person with insights of human behavioral patterns.

Forgiveness: The shaken and strained state of mind with resentment experiences bitterness and frustration. Forgiveness to the guilty relaxes and ease’s the stress and relations. The sympathetic forgiveness, true from the heart brings peace and happiness. The emotional set back turns to normalcy with realization of shame and guilt, gathering up oneself from shattered hopes of despair.

Sharing; Giving: When you squander for yourself, you become a victim of selfish mind but selflessness sharing and giving, in terms of your ideas, time, energy, talent, money, belongings will reach you heights anew with aliveness and joys of living. A luxurious living hurts inside with loneliness and malign feelings but, initiated feelings of sharing and giving will add to peace, joy and prosperity, the true art of living.

Religious Nature: Being an atheist brings out a human in you. Divine contact brings vision for future. Abilities are blossomed with renewed hope, faith and trust. It makes a deeper person with more understandings of humanity. The blurred visibilities are clear as reflections of religious feelings gives strength and courage to face challenges of life.

Communication: The very heart of human relations that bridges gaps towards closeness. Communication can be words, gestures or from the core of the heart. Sorrows, joys, dreams, success, failures and so on are the basic human conversational topics in different forms. CAR ACCIDENTS

On 19 May 2012, was a miracle and unforgettable date in my life that changed everything.

Yes! Just because of this, my golf activity that I would play weekend eventually stops for two years. In two years, I had my routines physiotherapy.

All I can do is thanked and praised to Lord Jesus. I know there was a reason behind this as God had planned something for me despite a minor injury.  Stays focus and keep praising God.

An incident happened at Kimanis road on our way home to Kota Kinabalu after a golf tournament at Keningau Golf Club (KUGCC).

Such a bad behaviour when the driver had a conversation with his wife while driving. The weather not really good, raining and cloudy at a bit. I sat behind the left passenger. We were only four in the car.

Upon conversation end, we noticed that the driver lost his temper and speedy like hell. We had no choice but to remind him to drive slowly. Such an arrogant attitude when responded,
"don't worry bro, this is my daily routine roads".

Everyone seems to be understood
. We smiled and continue our conversation about golfs. Suddenly, the car skidded at the first corner and another advice to the driver to drive slowly.

The car was suddenly out of controlled!! you know what? it was really in a ring corner when the driver unable to control the car steering. I hold passenger's safety handle, put my leg straight on the front seater to avoid bounce but failed!

The car went straight to the drain, hits the accident car that coincident in the drain led us all of us bounced to the cockpit.  High impact, impacted my left shoulder was injured.

I know, God saved us from the worst incident, we could otherwise all gone to the steep and slope jungles that no one could know.

Anyway, Life is a gamble. You might get hurt at any reasons but you must remember that people die in any place; plane crashes, lose their arms and legs in a car accident and etc. Same goes to fighters; some get hurt and some go on but you just don't let yourself believe it will happen to you. It's so happened that you are lucky. Lucky? No, it’s not. Just because of GOD worked without you realise it!

Jesus never leaves you alone even a second, irrespective of your realised it.

PERSONALITY TYPE

You will undoubtedly encounter many different types of personalities in the work place, each with their own unique blend of nuances. But there are four basic types of personalities from which they are based, which is commonly referred to as A, B, C, and D. Although volumes have been written on such personality traits, here is a synopsis:

Type "A" Personality - Is a highly independent and driven personality, typically representing the leaders in business. They are blunt, competitive, no-nonsense types who like to get to the point. They are also strong entrepreneurial spirits (risk takers). As such, they embrace change and are always looking for practical solutions for solving problems.

Type "B" Personality - Represents highly extroverted people who love the spotlight. Because of this, they are very entertaining and possess strong charisma (everyone likes to be around them). Small wonder these people are sales and marketing types. They thrive on entertaining people and are easily hurt if they cannot sway someone (such as "bombing" on stage).

Type "C" Personality - The antithesis of Type "B"; they are introverted detailists as represented by such people as accountants, programmers, and engineers. They may have trouble communicating to other people, but are a whirlwind when it comes to crunching numbers or writing program code. They tend to be very cautious and reserved, and will not venture into something until after all the facts have been checked out.

Type "D" Personality - Is best characterized as those people who resist any form of change and prefer the tedium of routine, such as in clerical assignments. They are not adventurous, resist responsibility and prefer to be told what to do.

It is not uncommon to find people with a blend of personalities, particularly A-B and C-D. But these basic personality types explain why some people work well together and others do not. For example Type-A clashes with Type-D simply because one is more adventurous than the other, and Type-B clashes with Type-C as one exhibits an extroverted personality and the other is introverted. Conversely Type-A works well with Type-B, and Type-C works well with Type-D.

The leveling factor between these different personality types is Common Courtesy which will be the subject of another article.

INDIVIDUALITY AND PERSONALITY

Before going any further let us first discuss about different characters of a human nature. The term "Personality Profile" is frequently used, but  TEMPERAMENT is even more basic. Many things go into forming a person's "personality" such as environment, upbringing, integrity, education, faith, job skills, etc

Understanding of Temperament helps break down many of the racial, gender, social and communication barriers that often have stood in the way of people working together.

Temperament Traits

Basically there are four main types of personality traits;

  1. EXTROVERSION

Second type of personality is people having dominant temperament trait which is called as DIRECTNESS.
